𝟏𝟓𝟎𝟎 𝐒𝐫𝐢 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐂𝐆𝐆, 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚.

A high-level delegation from the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) of India, led by Mr. Shri V. Srinivas, IAS, Secretary of the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, DARPG & DG, Government of India, recently visited SLIDA for a pivotal engagement. The delegation, accompanied by esteemed officials, engaged in a productive discussion with Mr. Nalaka Kaluwewe, Director General of SLIDA, along with all Additional Director Generals, to bolster the capacity building of Sri Lanka's public sector officers.

Under the terms of the new agreement, 1500 Sri Lankan officers are slated to undergo trainings at NCGG in the near future. Accordingly, today discussions were focused on tailored training needs and establishing a comprehensive timetable. Additionally, fruitful discussions were held with SLIDA faculty to exchange best practices in governance and public administration.

The Indian delegation also included key members such as Mr. Narendra Bahadur Singh Rajput, Joint Secretary of DARPG; Mr. Ashutosh Pal Singh, Associate Professor at NCGG; Ms. Poly Prisca Mathew, Chief Administrative Officer at NCGG; and Mr. Mukesh Kumar Bhandari, Research Associate at NCGG.
